This policy explains the small amounts of data muukly stores in your browser, and why. muukly is offline-first, so almost everything lives on your own device.

The short version

muukly uses essential storage to run the app and keep you signed in, plus optional product analytics that only run if you accept them. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking of any kind.

What muukly stores on your device

• Your app data (local storage). Your practice, settings, streak, favorites, and preferences are saved in your browser's local storage (under keys starting with “muukly:”) so the app works and remembers you between visits.
• This notice (local storage). A small value remembers that you've seen this cookie notice, so we don't show it every time.
• Media (IndexedDB). Images you add to vision boards are stored in your browser's IndexedDB, on your device.
• Staying signed in. If you create an account, our authentication provider (Supabase) keeps a login token in your browser so you don't have to sign in every time. It's used only to keep your session — not to track you.

Analytics — only if you accept

With your consent, muukly uses PostHog — a privacy-respecting product-analytics tool, hosted in the European Union — to understand which features help and where people get stuck, so we can improve the app. It sets cookies and local storage to measure things like the pages you visit and the actions you take. When you're signed in, these events are linked to your account. Analytics stay OFF unless you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind anytime below. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

What muukly does NOT use

• No advertising cookies and no ad networks.
• No cross-site tracking pixels, web beacons, or social-media trackers.
• We never sell your personal data.

Your choices

You control analytics: choose “Accept all” to allow them or “Essential only” to decline — and you can change your choice anytime with the button below. You can also clear all stored data through your browser settings (clear site data / storage), or with “Delete all my data” in the app. Note that blocking essential storage may stop parts of muukly (like staying signed in) from working.

Do Not Track

muukly doesn't track you across sites, so there's nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to change.

Changes

We'll update this policy if our storage practices change, and update the “last updated” date above.
