Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and muukly. By using muukly, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What muukly is

muukly is a bilingual, offline-first wellness and self-development app. It offers guided practices such as gratitude, breathwork, journaling, visualization, and mindfulness exercises. It does not use any AI or large-language-model service.

Not medical or mental-health care

Important. muukly is for general wellbeing and education only. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about your health.

In a crisis. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, muukly cannot help you in an emergency. Contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

Who can use muukly

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use muukly.

Your account

You can use muukly without an account. If you create one, keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

Your journal entries, boards, moods, and everything you create are yours. muukly stores them on your device and, if you're signed in, syncs them to your account so you don't lose them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, back up, and sync your content so the app can work — we do not use your personal content for any other purpose. Because muukly is offline-first, you are responsible for keeping your own backups (use the export tool in Settings).

Acceptable use

When using muukly, you agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems;
• misuse the service in any way that could harm muukly or other users.

Virtual items

muukly may offer virtual items and an in-app reward currency (“coins”). These have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are a limited licence to use them inside the app — not your property. They may change or expire. Any in-app “purchase” is currently simulated: at this stage muukly uses no real payment provider and does not charge you. If real purchases are introduced later, we will update these Terms and clearly show the price and terms before you pay.

Our intellectual property

The muukly app, its content, design, and brand belong to muukly and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own wellbeing. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute it.

Links to other services

muukly may link to third-party resources (for example, crisis helplines). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

muukly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your wellbeing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, muukly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Ending your use

You can stop using muukly and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

Changes

We may update muukly and these Terms as the app evolves. We'll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use muukly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
